We offer the following personal clinics.

Ante-Natal:
Clinics held weekly when patients see their own doctor or the community midwife.

Well Baby and child development clinics:
Children are seen at regular intervals by both doctors and the Health Visitor. Mothers can also see the Health Visitor (with an appointment or at her drop-in clinic).

Diabetes / hypertensive clinics:
Tuesday afternoons.

Family planning:
We offer a rull range of services during normal appointment times, including cap, coil fitting and contraceptive implants. You do not need to attend specialised clinics.

Hearing test for children:
By arrangement with the Health Visitor.

Cervical smears (liquid-based cytology):
These can be done by a nurse.

Minor operations:
By appointment with your own doctor.

Travel vaccinations:
Kingsthorpe Medical Centre runs Travel Clinics. If you require this service please contact the surgery for a questionnaire. Once this has been completed and returned one of our Practice Nurses will contact you to advise you which vaccinations you require. As this is a non-NHS service she will also advise you of the costs for your vaccinations.
